box international has particular expertise in the design and construction of hand portable and towed power systems. These units can be used for starting or servicing military aircraft, helicopters, business jets or turbo prop commuter airliners. Box also supplies equipment to oil platforms and support ships world wid. Units are available to the two common standards for aviation, either 24/28 Volts DC or 115 VAC 400HZ. Other voltages and custom special packs are available on request.
Box has a range of continuous power supplies from 230 VAC 50/60 HZ input to 28 Volts DC output. These switched mode, lightweight units, are used for servicing aircraft in the hanger, on the ramp, for powering communications systems or servicing and supporting armored military vehicles. These units are capable of outputting 50, 100, 150 or 200 Amps DC and can be used stand alone or combined with battery systems.
